SIPA was formed back in 2005 by Andy Thompson, and Jason Williams. Andy was tired of how other groups investigated paranormal phonemena, and wanted a fresh scientific approach.

Andys long standing experience in psychical research coupled with Jason's scientific expertise gave us a good platform on which to develop our organisation.

We later appointed Steve Favell as our investigative photographer, and Carol Greenall as our adminsitrations officer. Both Steve and Carol also bring strong skills and experience which combine to strengthen our team.

Pyschical research has been approached in the past using various methods. We favour the scientific route as it has more credence within this field. There has been serious investment in the equipment we use to deliver our results in a professional manner.

Based in Hitchin SIPA has strong links with the local Hertforshire community. On many occasions we have travelled further afield to pursue projects of special interest, and will continue to do so in the future.
